Additionally, the Republican Party is dedicated to ensuring that all people receive equal treatment under the law; to upholding our Constitutional Rights, including the right to keep and bear arms, freedom of speech, religion and the press; to preserving individual property rights and religious liberties; to supporting a strong and active military; to maintaining the sanctity and dignity of human life; and, to preserving the foundation of American families, including traditional marriage.
Moreover, the values of the Republican Party include the understanding that individuals, not government, are best suited to make decisions; capitalism is the most effective economic model; smaller government and lower taxes benefit all citizens; and, a strong national defense breeds security.
