What is the 38th Central Committee?

The county Central Committee is the official political organization within the county. It performs all things necessary to carry on a full-time, aggressive party program. In counties with 20 or more Assembly Districts, such as Los Angeles, each Assembly District Central Committee consists of seven members.

Los Angeles County is currently comprised of 26 Assembly Districts, each of which has or should have an Assembly District Central Committee. Every Assembly District Central Committee is under the umbrella of the Los Angeles County Republican Party.

Assembly District Central Committee members are charged with organizing voter registration, voter information, candidate recruiting, and getting out the Republican vote in their respective Assembly Districts.
